All-Inclusive Luxury Picnics
At The Art of Gathering, we offer the ultimate picnic experience - with anything you can think of already included in our picnic package (aka, you don’t even have to lift a finger)!
Seeing as we want you to enjoy your time as much as possible, we take care of all the details - from location, to appetizers & refreshments, to the entire setup based on your picnic theme of choice. We also do all the cleaning when you’re done, leaving you with the best memories and zero hassle.
All of our picnics include the entire setup based on your guest count and picnic theme, as well as personal charcuterie boxes for each of your guests, plus water and sparkling water!
A typical picnic setup includes rugs, tables, pillows, umbrellas, table decor including: candles, a green garland, and a table runner, place settings for each guest including: glassware, a charger, a plate, and silverware. We also offer a vintage bluetooth speaker radio, a custom chalkboard message, activities and games of your choice, and all your picnic essentials including insect repellent, hand sanitizer, napkins, etc…
Set Up
All packages include a fully styled picnic table with complete place settings like plates and utensils, napkins and more!
You can choose from the list of picnic themes that we offer, or customize your own!
The day of your picnic:
We handle all the setup & cleanup
If your picnic is at a public location, we take care of obtaining permits for public parks across North Carolina
Our staff is on site to meet you upon arrival, but we leave during your picnic for your privacy!
Our guests just show up, have fun and then walk off wanting to do it again!
Food & Drink
No picnic is complete without great food & refreshments! All of our picnics include a complimentary charcuterie box, water, and sparkling water bottles for all your guests!
You will have the option of adding on other food items & desserts, which are listed on our booking page. We also do work with catering companies to offer full food service.
We are mindful of all allergies and dietary preferences, so we do offer Gluten-Free, Halal, Nut-Free, Vegan, and Vegetarian options upon request! You can also view all of these options on our booking page.

Charcuterie Boxes from Grazie Raleigh
Our picnic cheese & charcuterie boxes are made with a variety of 3-4 hand-selected cheese, 2 kinds of Cured Meats, Fruit, Local Organic Honey, and our favorite accompaniments like Castelvetrano Olives, Cornichons, Capper- Berries , Dried Fruit, Assorted Nuts and Seasonal Flower and Herb garnishes.
All items in the box are subject to change due to seasonal availability. Our kitchen offers products with tree nuts, butter, and eggs. While we take steps to minimize the risk of cross contamination, we cannot guarantee that any of our products are safe to consume for people with peanut, tree nut, soy, milk, egg or wheat allergies.
Pastries & Desserts from Paul and Jack Bakery
We offer assorted pastries and desserts based on availability handmade from scratch at Paul and Jack Bakery. Dessert items are subject to change due to seasonal availability and local ingredients. Desserts & pastries may include bombolonis, stuffed croissants, cookies, macarons, and so much more!
French Macarons from Le Petit Amour Desserts
Hand-piped and fresh macarons of assorted flavors, namely Coffee, Chai, Pistachio, Mocha Salted Caramel, and many seasonal flasvors!

Games & Activities
We want your picnic experience to be the opposite of boring, which is why we’ve curated a list of yard games, card games, and activities that you can choose for your picnic.
All picnics will come with your choice of two games based on availability!
We offer games like Giant TicTacToe, Giant Jenga, Tabletop Connect Four, Cornhole Boards, Cards Against Humanity, Most Likely To, We’re Not Really Strangers, and much more.
You can also add-on entertainment packages like our movie night setup (inflatable movie screen, projector, & speaker) that can double as a karaoke night, or our Paint & Sip setup (canvases, brushed, and paints for each guest). We also offer a Flower Bar, and any other activities that you can think of!
